Coroner says foul play not suspected in Westmoreland Co. man's death

The body of Scott Neuner, 45, was found Saturday morning near his home along Fifth Street in St. Clair Township.

Family, friends and volunteers organized a search party of their Saturday to scour all of Seward and its surrounding areas. The mechanic wasn't heard from again after disappearing from his Seward home Oct. 27.

According to the Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office, a member of the search team discovered Neuner’s body in a creek bed approximately 100 yards away from his home.

Dr. Cyril Wecht will be performing an autopsy on the body on Sunday, though the Coroner’s Office said there is “no indication of trauma or foul play being associated with the death.”
