Man, woman shot at Beaver County home

A man and a woman were shot early Tuesday morning inside a home in Midland, Beaver County, police said.
The shooting, the first in two years in Midland, was reported about 4:30 a.m. on Virginia Avenue.
The woman was shot twice, once in the arm and once in the leg, police said. The man was shot in the arm.
Investigators said it appears the woman ran to a neighbor’s house to call 911, though it is not believed that either she or the man lived in the home where the shooting happened.

Both victims were taken to Pittsburgh hospitals.
Police said they found one shell casing and a gun in the home. They are working to determine if the gun found was the one used in the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
While police have been called to the home before, they said it was not for the man and woman wounded on Tuesday.
