PITTSBURGH — A local non-profit that provides free soccer and lifestyle coaching to children from inner city neighborhoods is holding a nonperishable food and toy drive - and they could use your help.
Pittsburgh Soccer in the Community is looking to help the members of its organization who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic due to significant loss of family income.
Here are some of the items they’re requesting:
Donations should be left in front of the Pittsburgh Soccer in the Community office.
- Nonperishable food items such as canned goods, dry goods (ie pasta and beans) and bottled drinks
- Books for children, toys, board games and old gaming consoles
Please sterilize any donated items and drop them off at The Neighborhood Academy Athletic Facility between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday April 24th, April 27th or Friday May 1st.
