Dimples opened up in Burbank in 1982.

Celebrities like Brittny Spears, Bobby Brown and Katy Perry were known to belt out more than one tune there.

The club had to close because city council plans to redevelop the site. It will soon be home to luxury apartments and a grocery store.

Owner Sal Ferraro plans to open another Dimples nightclub in the future.
