See & Be Seen got an inside tour of the ScareHouse in Etna. The scary experience begins with the haunted stories about the house itself.

"Actors notice things, hear sounds and voices, and that's just an added creep factor," said Katie Dudas, director of sales and marketing.

After a seven-year hiatus, the Pittsburgh Zombie Apocalypse attraction is back by popular demand.

"With the 50th anniversary of [George] Romero's 'Night of the Living Dead,' it was a no-brainer," Dudas said.

MORE SEE & BE SEEN:

The ScareHouse updated two of its attractions, Nocturnia 3-D and Infernal Darkness, and created an entirely new experience for The Basement, a haunt separate from The ScareHouse that requires guests to sign a waiver.

"We spend a lot of time designing the scenes in The Basement," Dudas said.
