PITTSBURGH — One person was taken to a hospital Friday night after a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, police told Channel 11 News.
Authorities said the shooting was reported around 8 p.m. in the 2000 block of Centre Avenue.
Police said that according to the initial stages of the investigation, the victim had argued with a man inside of a bar in that block, and the shooting occurred when both men went outside on the street.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his buttocks. Officials said he was listed in stable condition.
Police are investigating. There was no word on whether anyone was taken into custody at the scene.
