MCKEESPORT, Pa. — Police said they made a grisly discovery Friday morning when two bodies were found inside of a crashed car in McKeesport.
Investigators identified the victims as 41-year-old Carlos Hudson and 49-year-old Jana Randolph.
According to police, the bodies of both victims were inside of a car that crashed over a hillside near the intersection of Evans Avenue and Riverview Street.
Officers said they were called to the area after people living nearby heard shots fired. When they arrived, investigators found Hudson and Randolph.
Allegheny County police Lt. Andrew Schurman said both victims were shot, but it is not known if the bullet wounds or the impact from the crash ultimately killed the pair.
"When the vehicle was recovered and hoisted back up, they found the two occupants suffered gunshot wounds. Both were struck by bullets in the head,” Schurman said.
Hudson’s mother said her son was a father to seven children.
“If they had the gun they already intended to kill him or hurt him,” Mae Hudson said. “I want to know who killed my son. Why did you kill my son?”
Police said they did not find any weapons in Randolph’s car and so far, they have not been able to determine a motive. No arrests have been made.
