An Ambridge man is the latest person arrested in an effort to get illegal drugs off the streets in Beaver County.

The suspect, 28-year-old James Carter, has a lengthy criminal history and is now charged with drug violations.

Ambridge police said on Thursday they confiscated cocaine, money, a digital scale, and a fake Mountain Dew can that is actually a secret container.

“We do these busts all the time. We're making arrests. We’re getting people off the streets one at a time,” police Chief Jim Mann said.

Police said it might not be their biggest bust, but it’s a reminder to residents they’re always out there, watching to keep the community safe.
