ASPINWALL, Pa. — Police in Aspinwall are cracking down on drivers who roll through stop signs.

Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE report that Aspinwall police are paying extra attention to intersections with school bus stops.

“Occasionally people are in a hurry and they just pause and go on, or they don't stop at all,” resident Elizabeth Brown said.

Police told TribLIVE that speeding isn't an issue because many of the streets are brick and drivers tend to slow down.

"It's good for the kids, yes, and the pedestrians," Brown said. "It's a pain for the motorist, but you get used to it."
