PITTSBURGH,None — One day after the Rev. Brenda Franklin, also known as "Big Mama," said her prized barbecue grill that was stored at her old restaurant in the Strip District was stolen, Channel 11 News has found the grill.
Edward Honeywill, Franklin's property manager, told Channel 11's Timyka Artist he took the grill because Franklin wouldn't remove it from his property.
"It's been left there for 16 months. I don't store people's property, I clean it up. That's exactly what I did," said Honeywill.
Honeywill said Franklin owes him $25,000. He said he plans to scrap the grill if she doesn't pay him.
Franklin said Honeywill is lying and he never told her he was taking the grill.
