BMW carnage litters train tracks after derailment

JENKINSVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA — A train full of BMWs derailed in Jenkinsville, South Carolina, damaging nearly a 100 cars.

The train carrying 120 brand new cars from the company's plant derailed on the way to the port of Charleston where they were scheduled to be sent overseas.

Two locomotives, 10 train cars and 97 BMWs were damaged.

Crews were busy removing damaged cars from the tracks before making any necessary track repairs.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
