ZELIENOPLE, Pa. — One of the owners of a Butler County bridal shop is facing charges after witnesses said he was walking naked in the window of the store.
Peter Scolieri, 54, of Cranberry, was charged with indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.
Zelienople police were called to One Enchanted Evening on July 20 after three witnesses reported seeing the suspect in the window exposing himself by the mannequins. One woman showed officers a photo she took with her phone.
Police knocked on the door and there was no answer. A vehicle registered to Scolieri was parked outside. Police contacted his wife, who then called her husband to tell him that officers were outside the store.
When Scolieri came out of the building, police said he smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet. When they asked him about the incident in the window, officers said Scolieri became defensive.
His wife arrived at the store to take him home. Scolieri was issued a summons by mail.
His family told Channel 11 News he is receiving treatment for a mental health issue.
