PITTSBURGH — Apartment developer Jonathan Holtzman is preparing to take his ambitions for Pittsburgh to Wood Street downtown where he and his City Club Apartments are proposing a new 24-story residential tower on the site of the YWCA building.

Best known in Pittsburgh for developing such projects as the Albion at Morrow Park in Bloomfield and SouthSide Works Apartments under his previous company Village Green, Holtzman presented his preliminary plans to a recent meeting of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, which provided renderings of the proposal to the Pittsburgh Business Times.

Holtzman did not respond for comment.
