PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh-based software startup DeltaTrainer has secured a partnership with Anytime Fitness, the largest national gym chain.
Matt Spettel, co-founder and CEO of DeltaTrainer, said the partnership comes after the startup grew significantly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Spettel said as gyms around the world shuttered due to the virus, DeltaTrainer’s platform found a new audience.
DeltaTrainer created an app that provides personalized one-on-one training, workouts and feedback. Spettel said the startup responded quickly in April 2020 by adding hundreds of new exercises to its platform that relied on little to no equipment so users could easily complete them at home.
