PITTSBURGH — Late last summer, First Commonwealth Bank said it was closing 20% of its branches, prompted by the accelerated shift to digital transactions by customers, including 10, soon to be 11, in the Pittsburgh metro.
But First Commonwealth (NYSE:FCF) confirmed that it is building a new community office in Wexford, expecting to break ground this spring with a grand opening in autumn.
The new branch will be at 12449 Perry Highway.
