A new hospital is about to open in the North Hills.
On Thursday, Allegheny Health Network and joint venture partner Emerus unveiled its second neighborhood hospital in the region, AHN McCandless. The hospital will be the second AHN/Emerus 10-bed hospital to open; AHN Hempfield, the first, is close to being fully inspected by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
