PITTSBURGH — Downtown-based GNC Holdings Inc. expects to close its distribution center in Leetsdale in January of the new year, according to a WARN notice filed with the state of Pennsylvania.
As the company exits its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing through which it was bought by its largest shareholder, Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Holding Co., GNC’s notice to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry indicates it will lay off a total of 93 employees who work at the Leetsdale facility.
