PITTSBURGH — When it came to branding their new venture, Ted and Scott Slesinski made sure to stay true to their home brewing roots along with their sense of humor.
So when they debut their Lolev Brewing Co. at 5257 Butler St. some time next year, they’ll do so seeking to graduate from what started as a “lower level operation” as amateur brewers into a new craft brewery whose ambition can be measured in a new 20-barrel system.
“We wanted to shorten the name,” said Ted Slesinski of “Lower Level” becoming Lolev.
A native of Connecticut and who previously worked in tech, Slesinski said the goal is to produce a broad range of different kinds of beer at Lolev.
