PITTSBURGH — On Tuesday, Pittsburgh City Council approved new zoning standards for a portion of central Oakland that paves the way for Walnut Capital Partners to move forward with a planned mixed-use development.
The 8-1 vote creates a new urban center mixed-use zoning designation for a 13-acre span of Oakland along Halket Street and stretching along and across the Boulevard of the Allies.
