Pittsburgh Public Schools families to receive SNAP benefits during pandemic

PITTSBURGH — Families of students who attend Pittsburgh Public Schools will now receive Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer funds, or P-EBT, to make up for lost meals amid school closures.

As a result of missed lunches while out of school, families can now use these benefits at supporting grocery stores to help feed their children.
