Robert Morris University offers online instruction workshops to local teachers

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Robert Morris University launched a series of workshops to help regional teachers learn effective online teaching skills as many K-12 classrooms move to a virtual setting in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a news release.

The two- to three-day workshops so far attracted 200 local teachers from three public and private schools. Faculty from the university’s department of education lead the workshops and customize content based on a particular school’s needs. Some topics may include video lecture techniques, discussion board strategies and presentation narration skills.
