PITTSBURGH — A recently launched local program aims to address constantly changing regulations surrounding current health and safety guidelines for restaurants and other businesses in the hospitality industry.
By partnering with Allegheny County and its health department, Safe Service Allegheny aims to provide food and beverage businesses, workers and customers a safe way to operate during the Covid-19 pandemic with up-to-date resources and information via its website. The initiative is financially supported by the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association, Chatham University, Farm to Table Western PA, Sustainable Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council.
