SunCap pursuing new 220,000-square-foot facility in Butler County sources indicate is for Bayer Corp.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — SunCap Property Group, a North Carolina-based firm that’s been busy in the Pittsburgh market building new industrial facilities for companies such as GE and Amazon, is preparing to build a new 220,000-square-foot distribution facility in Clinton Township, Butler County.

A Clinton Township official confirmed that SunCap presented a plan slated for an open site at the Victory Road Business Park for the project to its Planning Commission last week without disclosing for whom the building would be developed.

Matt Virgin, a senior vice president in Pittsburgh for SunCap, also confirmed the basics of the project his company is pursuing but declined to disclose the tenant.
