Superior Court favors Airmall operator reinstatement amid lawsuit with PIT

PITTSBURGH — The Pennsylvania Superior Court reversed a lower court ruling on Tuesday that permitted the removal of the Airmall operator at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) while an ongoing lawsuit over the legality of the lease termination between the two parties is determined.

A three-judge panel overturned a previous order from Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County Judge Christine Ward that barred Airmall operator Fraport Pittsburgh Inc. from the airport as a suit between it and the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA), which manages PIT, pans out.
