Channel 11 Tracks '10-'11 Winter Snowfall Totals

PITTSBURGH,None — This winter season started off with a bang, bringing us storm after storm.

In December, we ended up with about a foot of snow for the month. That's about 5 inches above normal. In January, we picked up about 2 feet of snow, which is about 11 inches above normal.

As we check on February, we measured 14.1" of snow. That's nearly double what we usually see during February.

Our seasonal snow total for Pittsburgh International is 50.4 inches. The average for an entire season is 40.6 inches, so we're nearly 10 inches above normal with several chances of snow still to come.
