Chief's orders: ‘Tons of tickets' to be handed out this summer

BRIMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Oh. — A nearby Ohio town’s police chief is once again making headlines, this time for ordering his officers to issue “tons of tickets” this summer.

Chief David Oliver, of the Brimfield Township Police Department, took to his popular Facebook page to share the message.

Chief Oliver got international attention when he posted another message about the mass stabbing at Franklin Regional High School, urging Facebook and other social media users to be respectful, and not political after the tragic event. Brimfield Township is located about 90 minutes from Pittsburgh.
