CLAIRTON, Pa.,None — A Clairton man pleaded guilty Monday to killing his ex-girlfriend last year.
Police say 46-year-old Herbert Benson, admitted to killing Uniquea Hines, 23, the mother of his two children, after finding her with another man in her bedroom.
Authorities say Benson stabbed Hines more than 70 times before fleeing in her SUV with the 2- and 4-year-old boys, who were later found unharmed. Clairton is about 10 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
Benson was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison.
