MOUNT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Police said a driver lost control and smashed into a Mt. Washington home early Thursday morning before leaving the scene.
Investigators said the accident happened in the 600 block of Boggs Avenue.
Officers said the driver fled the scene after crashing into the home’s front door. Police said the driver also hit a car that was parked on the street as she was attempting to flee.
There were people inside of the home at the time of the crash, but police said no injuries were reported.
A woman in her 40s was later arrested after police said they followed a trail of oil on the ground to her home. She is facing hit-and-run charges. The woman’s name has not been released.
