Extras needed for movie to be shot in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Casting directors for a movie shooting in Pittsburgh are looking for paid extras.

“Last Flag Flying” takes place in the early days of the Iraq War, as a group of military veterans who have to confront their past takes a road trip from Pennsylvania to New Hampshire.

The movie is based on a book by the same name.

Filming begins in and around Pittsburgh on Nov. 1 and will continue through mid-December.

The film will star Steve Carrell, Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne. Richard Linklater will direct.

Extras will portray traveling passengers, families, military personnel, bartenders, restaurant patrons and other various roles. Casting directors are looking for children ages 9-12, teens, adults and senior citizens.
