FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. — The Fayette County Bureau of Investigation is hard at work trying to apprehend drug dealers across the county.
“The drugs include suboxin, heroin, cocaine and methadone,” said Fayette County District Attorney Rich Bower.
According to Bower, 24 warrants have been issued during the drug round up. 23 of the issued warrants are for felonies.
Nine people have been arrested.
Bower told Channel 11 they are looking to take down 24 mid-to-low level drug dealers in the county.
“I said we would attack this frontally, and we’re going to continue to do it,” Bower said.
Since taking office in January, cleaning up the county’s drug problem has been one of his top priorities.
