PITTSBURGH — Just a few weeks after Landon Donahey was injured in a shooting at his Greenfield home, emergency personal returned to battle a fire.

Officials said the fire started around 4 a.m. Friday on Montclair Street.

Even though firefighters aren’t saying what caused the blaze, Donahey said it can’t be a coincidence.

“I just think it’s a little weird because I have never had any problems and they said it could have been started from the grill. We haven’t started the grill in a week and everyone in my house, except for my two roomates, were sleeping,” Donahey said.

Donahey and his dog were hurt during a shooting and home invasion on July 21. He said he works out of his home and would like to move, but he’s financially unable to do so.

“Right now I got about $100, you know what I mean? I can’t work for the next two weeks,” Donahey said.

Police said the suspects in the shooting have not been caught and firefighters said they are still working on determining what caused the blaze.
