PITTSBURGH,None — Greta the kid may soon be sent packing back to the farm.
Pittsburgh manicurist Patrick Weakland has been raising Greta -- an African pygmy goat -- back to health the past five weeks since getting kicked out its litter soon after birth. Greta was born at a stable in Cambria County, where Weakland's partner is stablemaster.
Since then, the 8-pound goat has bonded with Weakland's 6-year-old Chinese crested dog. Weakland also said that Greta considers Weakland his mother.
But Pittsburgh residents aren't allowed to have farm animals, so Weakland must return Greta back to the stables.
He said he doesn't know how Greta will adjust to normal goat life of grazing and sleeping when she's used to laying on a couch from Ikea.
