"Fire department and cops are turning people around.  Route 380 at Route 286 is closed," said Stephanie Cribbs.

Drivers reported icy conditions on Route 28 between Natrona Heights and Tarentum.  Channel 11's Brittny McGraw reported that several vehicles slid off the side of the road and on/off ramps were covered in a sheet of ice.

WPXI-TV Pittsburgh Facebook fans and Twitter followers reported accidents in many areas.

In Derry Township, a small bus lost control and overturned on Strawcutter Road around 7:45 a.m.

One student was on board the bus at the time of the crash. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for undisclosed injuries. It was not clear if the student was hurt.
