HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — One person is dead after a crash in Washington County late Tuesday night.
The crash near the intersection of Steubenville Pike and Beverly Avenue in Hanover Township was called into 911 at 10:23 p.m.
According to Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco, the driver lost control, went off the roadway and crashed into a wooded area.
Warco said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.
Speed is believed to be a factor, Warco said.
The driver has not yet been identified.
Warco’s office and the Hanover Township Police continue to investigate.
