PITTSBURGH — One person was stabbed in Downtown Pittsburgh early Wednesday.
Police responded to the scene on Liberty Avenue near the intersection of Smithfield Street shortly before 5 a.m.
Officers found a man who had been stabbed in the upper torso and back lying on the ground when they arrived.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
