PITTSBURGH — 14 Pittsburgh-area private companies are among the fastest growing in 2026 — down from 21 in 2025, according to a national ranking.
Inc., a national business journal, released its annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. on Tuesday. Companies are ranked by percentage revenue growth over a three-year period.
The highest-ranking Pittsburgh company this year just missed the top 500. HMA Mortgage, a Robinson-based lender, was ranked No. 515 with 673% growth since 2023. This year marks HMA Mortgage’s first appearance on the list.
A pair of North Side-based tech firms also made the top 1,000: Iralogix grew 475% and ranked No. 722, up from 1,093 last year, while Gather AI made its first appearance at No. 963 with a growth rate of 435%.
