PITTSBURGH — Eaglets are starting to hatch in Western Pennsylvania.
Irvin and Stella, the bald eagles nesting near the U.S. Steel Irvin Plant, just welcomed their first two eaglets of the season!
U.S. Steel officials say this is the ninth successful hatch at the nest overall.
And, since Stella laid three eggs this season, there’s a chance for one more to hatch at this nest, plus the chance for two eaglets at the nest in Hays.
