MCKEESPORT, Pa. — Allegheny County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a woman who had been a fugitive for nearly three years alongside a second wanted man on Jersey Street in McKeesport.
Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus announced the arrests after authorities also recovered two handguns and over a half-pound of suspected marijuana at the home.
Detectives went to the residence to locate 45-year-old Leah Saluga, who opened the door and was arrested. During a subsequent safety check of the residence, officers located and arrested 22-year-old Terron Porterfield.
Saluga had been a fugitive since September 2023. She was wanted on two bench warrants after failing to appear for sentencing on a driving under the influence case and missing a court hearing on a separate drug possession case.
Porterfield was wanted on a bench warrant issued last month for a probation violation linked to a 2025 guilty plea on a gun charge. He also had an active arrest warrant out of West Mifflin for fleeing a police officer.
While making the arrests, detectives observed indications of weapons and suspected marijuana inside the residence. Authorities then applied for and received a search warrant, recovering two handguns—including a .45-caliber Glock 21—and just over a half-pound of suspected marijuana.
Both Saluga and Porterfield were transported to the Allegheny County Jail on their existing warrants. Porterfield faces additional gun and drug charges resulting from the search.
