Investigators are asking for help from the public in the ongoing search for a man who’s been missing for six years.
Pennsylvania State Police are trying to find Marcus Schoener, 20, who was last seen on April 8, 2020, around 7 a.m., walking on Wenclif Lane in Hilltop Estates in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, after arguing with his father.
He hasn’t been seen or heard from since. His cell phone, laptop, and money were all left at his home. A handgun was also reported missing from the home.
There is a $5,000 reward for information that leads investigators to Schoener’s location.
Troopers say Schoener was last seen wearing a burgundy plaid jacket, pants, a ball cap, and white and orange Puma tennis shoes.
Police don’t know the means by which Schoener left, or what direction he went. He does have a history of mental health issues, including depression.
Schoener has brown hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.
