JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. — A little boy who was hit by a car in Jefferson Hills on Friday evening has died from his injuries.
Police said 8-year-old Connor Zink was riding a skateboard when he was hit on Gilmore Drive at approximately 9:12 p.m.
According to police, the driver told them he did not see the boy until the last second and was unable to avoid hitting him.
Zink was rushed to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
