AG: Child porn suspect arrested with 8-10 pounds of pot

MONONGAHELA, Pa. — Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office said they arrested a Washington County man on child pornography charges and said they found nearly a dozen pounds of weed in the process.

Police said when Tor Stanko was arrested Monday morning, he had about 8-10 pounds of marijuana, packaging materials and a digital scale inside his Monongahela home.

“I saw about a half dozen police cars and mobile command units going past. I said a little prayer because I thought something tragic happened,” said one neighbor.

Agents with the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit also confiscated Stanko’s computer and electronic devices.

They said they found about 200 files with child pornography -- some with children as young as 6 years old.

Channel 11's Cara Sapida reported Stanko faces serious charges, but he was released after his arraignment. He is not in the Washington County Jail because he is a paraplegic and in a wheelchair.
