PITTSBURGH — In the middle of the busy holiday shopping season, agents from the Attorney General’s Office arrested a man at a busy McKnight Road strip mall Thursday on child pornography charges.
According to the criminal complaint, 33-year-old Mark Robinson was charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of dissemination of child pornography.
The manager at the store where Robinson worked told Target 11's Rick Earle that Robinson was hired about three weeks ago.
He said everyone was shocked when authorities came in and arrested him.
Earle reported that Robinson is the 161st arrest this year by the Attorney General's Child Predator Unit.
Last year, the same unit made 114 arrests.
They said increased funding and effort have led to the increased number of arrests.
Robinson is being held in the Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
