PENN HILLS, Pa. — The state Attorney General's Office is investigating a website that briefly displayed nude photographs of girls from Penn Hills High School.
The website, titled "Penn Hills Expose," has been removed.
"The officer assigned to the school was approached by the principal that day and was told there was a website. He filed the report," said Penn Hills Police Chief Howard Burton.
Burton said the case has been turned over to the Attorney General's Office.
Four students have been questioned about the website, but no one has claimed responsibility for creating it, police said.
Parents received a letter that said in part: "No district technology was involved in the creation of the site. Our first priority was and continues to be minimizing attention to the website and protecting the students who were victims of this from further exposure."
