Aliquippa search warrant execution allegedly disrupted; 3 adults, 2 juveniles facing charges

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Three adults and two juveniles are facing charges after a disturbance during a search warrant execution Monday night in Aliquippa.

Aliquippa police say the warrant on Irwin Street was connected to an investigation into 21-year-old Ramere Lowe, who allegedly brandished a gun and threatened a woman at a local market.

According to police, the search warrant stemmed from an incident at the Plan 12 Market, where Lowe allegedly threatened a female victim.

That incident followed a Sept. 29 altercation in which Lowe allegedly pepper-sprayed the same woman, leading to criminal charges.

When officers executed the warrant at 7:20 p.m. Monday, several people gathered and became disorderly, refusing commands to disperse. Hopewell Township police responded to assist Aliquippa officers at the scene.

As officers tried to take Diedra Lee, 37, into custody, her juvenile daughter allegedly intervened in the arrest.

A juvenile male also yelled, caused a disturbance and obstructed officers after refusing multiple orders to stop and leave the area, police say.

During the disturbance, 59-year-old Rayetta Lee arrived at the scene and stopped her vehicle in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic. Police say she exited her vehicle, yelled and interfered with officers during the operation.

Lowe was charged with terroristic threats, intimidation of a victim, retaliation of a victim and simple assault.

Diedra Lee was charged with failure of disorderly persons to disperse, disorderly conduct and obstruction.

Rayetta Lee was charged with failure of disorderly persons to disperse, two counts of disorderly conduct, obstruction and obstructing highways.

Both juveniles face charges of failure of disorderly persons to disperse, disorderly conduct and obstruction.
