PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County is offering amnesty for parents behind on child support.
If you’ve failed to appear at hearings, you can show up at the court’s main office in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursday and Friday and not be fined.
Officials said the amnesty program applies to child support warrants only.
According to the Tribune Review, there are more than 2,000 bench warrants for people owing child support in Allegheny County.
