PITTSBURGH — The Andy Warhol Bridge will be closed at night from Monday through Thursday on a weekly basis for a new lighting project.
According to a news release, the bridge will shut down from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. If the Pirates have a home game, the bridge will close to outbound traffic at 7:30 p.m., and then fully close at 11 p.m.
The release said the project is expected to take “at least three months.”
Traffic will be detoured using Fort Duquesne Boulevard, the Rachel Carson Bridge and Isabella Street.
A sidewalk will remain open to pedestrians during the work.
