Dozens of animals removed from Pittsburgh home

PITTSBURGH — Dozens of animals were removed from a home in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood in what police call a case of animal hoarding.

Police shared pictures of the pets taken from the home along Linnview Avenue Wednesday.

Officers removed 26 small dogs and 13 cats. Two of the dogs will require emergency care.

There is no word on whether charges will be filed.
