Man wanted for trying to burn down local pizza shop

Investigators are searching for a person who apparently tried to burn down a local pizza shop.

It happened earlier this month behind Antonio’s Pizza on Brookline Boulevard in Brookline.

The fire happened while Antonio’s was open, with employees inside preparing for the evening rush.

Surveillance video shows someone setting fire to what appears to be a gas can, then running away. Luckily, the fire extinguished quickly and no one was hurt.

A spokesperson for Pittsburgh Public Safety said they are investigating the fire as an arson, which is ongoing. No arrests have been made yet.
