WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Wilkinsburg Police, along with the attorney general’s office, arrested Claude Mason for drug trafficking.

It was a major drug bust after police said neighbors tipped them off.

Police launched an investigation and executed a search warrant Friday morning at Mason’s house and found a handgun, about $3,700 in cash and various drugs.

A detective said they got several complaints from neighbors along Clark Street in Wilkinsburg of people going in and out of Mason’s home. Police said these tips help get drugs off the streets and put criminals behind bars.

Police said they discovered 10 bricks of heroin, 87 ecstasy pills, 3 ounces of crack cocaine and 2 ounces of cocaine.

Police said Mason is a prior felon. Mason was taken to the Allegheny County jail Friday afternoon to be arraigned on four felony counts.
