Amazon is taking a unique approach to make sure its employees really want to work there.
Once a year, the Internet giant offers to pay warehouse employees to quit their jobs.
The first offer is $2,000, and each year the offer goes up by $1,000 until it reaches $5,000.
The thought is -- people who don’t actually want to work there anymore will take the offer and leave.
Amazon is in the process of adding jobs, so this isn’t about reducing the workforce.
